Since 1998, my co-workers, family, and I have focused our efforts on building and running the Jurassic Garden, and helping friends, customers and clients create self-sustaining, drought-resistant, people-friendly landscapes.
Jurassic Garden is a family-owned rare and sustainable plant nursery in Los Angeles, California. We have been growing drought-resistant plants for 25+ years. We specialize in cycads and other rare and sustainable plants.
Maurice Levin has served on the Board of Directors of The Cycad Society, and is past Chairman of the Board of the Oddyssey Theatre Ensemble. Maurice is a Board Member and past Secretary of the Harvard Club of Southern California,
Prior to Jurassic Garden, Maurice Levin worked in real estate, investment banking, and retained executive search. Maurice grew up in Los Angeles, graduated from Palisades High School, completed an AB in History from Harvard University in 1979 (magna cum laude thesis), and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1984, 2nd Year Honors. Maurice Levin has completed coursework in the UCLA Horticulture and Gardening Program, and regularly teaches on growing sustainable landscapes. Maurice is an Eagle Scout.

· Created business plan, developed and ran a multi-acre organic horticulture grower and rare plant nursery.
· Educated clients, opening new markets for rare and drought-resistant landscape plants.
· Developed and cultivated client relationships with institutions, nurseries, landscapers, and home gardeners.
